Fit Fridays: Body and MIND!

I highly recommend reading this article by Chrissie Wellington (4-time World Ironman champion) about how training your mind may matter more than training your body during your workouts. Whether you are running your first 5k or training for the Hawaii Ironman, utilizing your mind in a positive way will help you excel - and help you enjoy the process.

In my opinion, a strong mind is not only helpful in sports but can also help you in your daily life. Whenever something seems daunting or scary such as a new business venture, approaching your boss for that well-deserved raise or even dealing with a screaming, tantrumy, testing-your-limits toddler you'll be able to handle it much better.
